We honestly felt Cloud 9 was our another home. The atmosphere is very friendly. The whole building is very safe, our stay at Cloud 9 has been comfortable. Mrs.Usha and Mr.Sanjeep tried their best and provided excellent service. Mr.Adil Ghani is too kind, we are really pleased to meet such a nice and genuine person! Just a little suggestion, please sort out the plumbing issues in the flat, this would make much better home. Other than that everything was more than we expected! Thank you very much to all of you. Geese Haven Homestay & Farms

This is the third time I am coming here with my husband and pets and each time we have only enjoyed the space out here, not to mention the lovely stream. However, I would sincerely like to make one small suggestion. Happy(the cute little dogie here) must be provided with a much cleaner living space and also if he could be kept little more cleaner. Wonderful experience!Great to see stocked up kitchen for kids and adults. Staff is very good. The Cook was very very good. He really took care of us. Outdoors are very well maintained. We had a comfortable & nice time in your farm. Well kept house & lovely animals. We were taken care of very well. Barbecue was so commendable. Few suggestions, the windows need mesh. Need to keep them open during summer. Sunita & Pradeep

This beautiful home was perfect for what I needed. I was working 12 km down the road and cut my daily commute to work down to 20 minutes instead of the 90 minutes from Bangalore. The home was clean and well run. The beds were firm, as is typical in India. There are western style toilets. There was plenty of hot water and brand new screens on the windows, which allowed us to keep the windows open and enjoy the evening air without the fear of mosquitoes. The power is spotty, but they do have a back-up system that allowed us to run some lights and our computers. The home is also a little musty, but I think this is typical in a monsoon environment. There is no air conditioning, but it was not needed. The home was VERY pleasant with the windows open and a fan running to move the air through.

The staff was kind and did their best to accommodate any requests. The food prices were very reasonable and the food was always fresh and tasty. And, as we did not have a car while we were there, we took the majority of our meals at the house. Fresh coconuts were always available, straight out of the trees in the yard!! The menu is sometimes limited, based on what can be found at the local markets. So, if you are willing to try the "special of the day", whatever that may be, you will always have a nice meal.

The home is 2 km down a dirt road (in very poor condition), from the main road connecting Bangalore to Kanakapura. But, it is a pleasant walk and everyone was very friendly. We were even invited in for tea and snacks to one home. The home-stay is also about 2km from the village of Somanahalli, a quiet little town where people are friendly and you can walk around, undisturbed. There is also a very nice restaurant called Paul's Hut on Kanakapura road, just 4 kms from the home-stay, which does nicely if you want something different for dinner.

Overall, the home-stay was very nice. However, it is quiet and secluded. It is not close to much, but if you are looking for an Indian style accommodation at a reasonable price, with good customer service, this is a good option. It was exactly what I was looking for. Cindy Lu, Knoxville - TN
